    TU Delft, Design Crossovers studio

    01/09/2020-19/01/2021

  • The studio task was to reimagine the typology of an archive and design its function on a specific plot in Hamburg.

The historical analysis of the context revealed the prominent existence of a demolished train station near the site that was exploitated during the Second World War in order to deport many individuals to various concentration camps.

The project concept proposes to integrate the archive within the urban fabric. It is open to all visitors, providing an introduction to the subject matter and an access to information about the victims of these deportations.
